About the Competiton

Registration

Online registrations open Friday 16th February, and and close on Friday 19th July at 6pm. This year we are offering Early Bird discounts until Sunday14th April., then standard price applies online and for in person registrations.

Friday 19th July

  • The Nicholson Hotel in Nicholson, from 10 am to 7:00 pm.

  • The Black Stump General Store in Johnsonville, from 10 am to 6:00 pm.

Saturday 20th July

  • The Black Stump  General Store in Johnsonville, from 6 am to 9 am

Display of all merchandise available on registration - t-shirts $50, fishing shirts $70, beanies $25 caps $25, stubby holders $8

Bream Classic limited edition merchandise for sale at online or in person registration.

Junior (12 and under) - $30.00

Family (2 senior and up to 3 junior (12 and under) registrations) - $150 *

If you have more than 3 kids (12 and under), you can purchase additional junior registrations for $15 each. Please contact us.

Standard - 15th April 2024 till 19th July (close at 6pm)

Senior - $60.00

Junior (12 and under) - $40.00

Family (2 senior and up to 3 junior (12 and under) registrations) - $200*

Friday 19th July from 6:00 pm till Sunday 21st July with the last Track My Fish submission at 11:30 am.

Fishing Category Prizes

Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:

 

1. King or Queen of Bream 2024, open to all anglers, for the longest string of Bream (5 fish caught over weekend fishing times)

2. Longest Bream

  • Senior Female Anglers

  • Senior Male Anglers

  • Junior (12 years and under) Anglers

3. Longest Bream - Runner Up

  • Senior Female Anglers

  • Senior Male Anglers

  • Junior (12 years and under) Anglers

4. Teams*: Longest 'String' of 4  Bream caught by teams of up to 4 members. 

*Family registrations not eligible for Team prize.

 

5. Family: Longest 'String' of 4  Bream caught by a family of up to 5 members.

6. Top 10 longest Bream caught by all Senior Anglers go into the draw for a Hobie kayak

7. Top 10 longest Bream caught by all Junior Anglers go into the draw for a Hobie kayak

8.. Secret fish draw prizes will be awarded across all the entries.

CATCH & RELEASE  BREAM Only 

Log your fish through Track My Fish for Tournaments mobile app.

There will be no physical weigh-in stations. All fish are to be photographed on a brag mat (supplied by the Competition) and submitted through Track My Fish.
